Community Transport & Connecting Communities
BSEVC are part of the Connecting Communities service run by Suffolk County Council and Suffolk OnBoard.
We provide transport for people living in Ipswich and Mid Suffolk who are not able to access or use mainstream transport services. Our services are delivered by a team of dedicated drivers. All of our team have enhanced DBS, are Dementia Friends and are First Aid trained.
The Stowmarket Rickshaw Project
Working in partnership with Red Gables, Suffolk County Council, Mid Suffolk District Council, Stowmarket Dementia Action Alliance & The Mix, our tri-shaw is available to book free of charge for individuals and community visits.
As part of our fleet, we also have two mini-bus vehicles which can transport up to 15 people (plus our driver). If you are looking for group transport for an event, club or activity, get in touch for a competitive quote.
This is a volunteer-led service which provides door-to-door service, one to one (or in a family group) to get you to where you need to be. All of our volunteers have enhanced DBS and are dementia and first aid aware.
